GUNSHOME - our rules for delivery, payment, returns and exchanges can be found here.
Delivery:
Where does we ship to?
We ship goods under the following conditions within the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany, mainland.
German islands at special conditions, additional costs on request.
We also ship goods to other countries. In these cases, please contact us before placing your order. We will be happy to determine the costs for transport and, if necessary, customs clearance, etc. to your desired domicile. For deliveries outside German territory, the risk of transport and loss of the goods is transferred to the customer when the freight forwarder takes over the goods at the factory.
The products from our range are sent via parcel service, general cargo forwarder or special transporter (step transporter, only available for destinations in the Federal Republic of Germany). During your ordering process, you can select the desired delivery method, provided the item is suitable for the desired delivery method.
How is shipping?
Delivery service:
When transported by parcel service (DHL, up to 30 kg), the products are delivered to your front door. You are responsible for further transport yourself. Please also note our note on the subject of transport damage, see below.
Transport general cargo forwarding:
Our general cargo forwarders deliver the goods on pallets up to 60kg behind the first lockable door at ground level (this can also be the lockable garden gate).
According to the General German Freight Forwarder Conditions (AdSp), free delivery means that goods weighing more than 60 kg can also be left on the curb by the deliverer; the deliverer is not obliged to transport them further. You are responsible for further transport into the house.
Our factories send the items using their own shipping companies, over which we have no influence. Due to the high volume of shipments, many shipping companies are tightly structured and can give you appointments for a specific day, but not for a specific time. We have no influence on that. Please coordinate with the freight forwarder on your own responsibility.
We would like to point out that we do not accept cancellations of ordered items due to problems with the shipping company.
Please also note our note on the subject of transport damage, see below.
Free transport Point of use:
We can optionally transport your goods in Germany to the point of use (from 500kg on request). To do this, we require a fully completed stair transport questionnaire from you in advance (we will send it to you based on your order), photo documentation (please no videos) of the transport route from the curb to the installation site, and if necessary dimensions of lintels and doorways.
As standard, we deliver with a regular truck crew of 2 men. The transport costs include 30 minutes of working time. Additional time per 15 minutes started / 2 people on site: EUR 69.00 incl. VAT. We transport with contracts, hand trucks, stair climbers or stair tanks, these transport aids are carried along and their use is included in the price, but not special transport (crane, additional Arrival of additional staff etc.). If transport is not possible due to local conditions or insufficient information, the stated transport costs and any additional additional costs will be charged according to the above prices.
The impossibility of transport to a desired location does not release the purchaser from accepting the ordered item; if necessary, another suitable location must be specified. If the customer does not specify an alternative location and the goods must be returned to the factory and the order canceled there, we will also charge a cancellation fee of 15% of the value of the goods, which consists of return freight, re-disposal costs, storage fees until the re-disposal and, if applicable, discounts on sales of the goods to a third party.

Important note on the topic
Transport damage
Despite all care, damage may occur during delivery. Unfortunately, we have no influence on this.
However, your shipment is insured, but only until the time when the goods are handed over to you and you confirm that the goods have been properly received by the deliverer.
Please therefore strictly observe the following procedure:
If the packaging is undamaged, check the goods before acceptance; only acknowledge proper receipt if there are no complaints. If an immediate inspection cannot take place due to time constraints, have the delivery person confirm in writing on the delivery documents that the acceptance is subject to inspection for obvious and hidden defects and a written report to the shipping company (note name and address!) within 3 days by mutual agreement. The driver's name should be legible - if necessary. have it written down in block letters - the license plate number of the delivery vehicle should also be noted.
If the packaging/goods are obviously damaged, refuse acceptance or, if the damage is not serious, at least note the facts on the delivery documents and have them confirmed by the delivery person with the date and signature. If necessary, make such an entry on the digital terminals that are now widely used, in the same field where you sign.
If you do not receive a copy of the damage information, please take a photo of the papers or the digital terminal showing your damage note in a legible manner.
Please inform us promptly about the situation and enclose the damage documents and pictures of the goods and packaging. We will then take care of a prompt replacement.
We expressly point out at this point that any liability for defects or damage is rejected if the goods are not checked/unpacked upon receipt.
Exchanges and returns:
Items too big, items too small, items too... whatever - we'll find a solution, although of course you don't buy gun safes and gun room doors just "for viewing".
For this reason, uniform rules generally apply to these cases:
- All returns must be agreed with us in advance. We will then give you the return delivery address. We would like to point out that we generally cannot accept returns without prior agreement.
- As a general rule, certain goods should only be sent to the respective manufacturing plant unless we give other instructions. Only send goods that have already been unpacked insured and adequately packaged. Due to our lack of influence, we are not responsible for any damage that may occur during return transport.
- Freight costs are non-refundable.
- If goods are simply returned, we reserve the right to deduct a processing fee of 15% of the value of the goods from a credit note. In the event of an exchange, we reserve the right to waive this flat rate in whole or in part.
- Items can only be credited if they are returned to us in perfect and immediately salable condition. This also includes appropriate packaging.
- Damage to the goods will lead to a reduction in the credits to be issued. These reductions are expressly based on the possibilities of further marketing damaged goods. As a buyer of damaged goods, you too would expect price discounts; other buyers do the same.
- A possible reduction in value will be determined upon receipt, e.g. by selling the goods in consultation with our customers. In these cases, a credit can only be issued after the item has been recycled.
